Caldy Golf course
Situated at the end of the Wirral Peninsula, alongside the River Dee, Caldy Golf Club boasts some of the finest views in golf. With its links style holes, affording views across the estuary to Wales, contrasting perfectly with its parkland and heathland style inland holes, the course provides the perfect challenge for golfers of all abilities.
Wallasey golf club
Wallasey was founded in 1891, and is ‘Home’ to the Stableford competition, fitting that the Wirral Golf Classic is played using the Stableford format.
Tom Morris senior of St Andrews, four times Open champion, laid out the links. An 1893. Course improvements were made in 1901 by Alex ‘Sandy’ Herd (Open Champion 1902) and in 1913 by Harold Hilton (four times Amateur Champion and twice Open Champion). The venue of Open championship qualifying.
Heswall golf club
With breathtaking views across the Dee Estuary, Heswall Golf Club provides a championship course, state of the art practice facilities, highly acclaimed instruction within the Academy, and a convivial community within its Clubhouse.
Heswall offer an idyllic venue for the avid enthusiast, both newcomers and seasoned golfers alike.

Sincere thanks to you and your team for a first class job at the Wirral Classic. It was superbly organised and although this was my first time in the event I’m sure to return next year.
